One day, two launches, three walk and talks, 114 walkers and talkers

One day, two launches, three walk and talks, 114 walkers and talkers, one deputy major, an orchard, a stream, an abundance of nature, lots of local councillors and hundreds of smiles and conversations.

What a Saturday we had on 11th June.

Yes we now have three walks and talks up and running - or rather walking...every Saturday at 10.30am.

Our original and popular walk and talk Wimbledon Park from the big walk and talk banner next to the cafe in the park is going from strength to strength.

Now it has been joined by two new walk and talks - Morden Hall Park in Morden and Canons House and Gardens in Mitcham.

We are happy to say that both launches were a great success - as the pictures below show.

We really look forward to seeing you at one of our free and fun walks soon. Come and join us - we are here for you every Saturday.

Our walk and talks are a chance for all generations to take a stroll, chat, meet friends and neighbours, make new friends and help each other. From older adults to young children, from buggies to beagles – everybody can join in. Meet neighbours and friends - old and new. You can walk at any pace you like, for however long you like.
