Let's Walk and Talk together all over the festive period

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas - and we are here for a festive Walk and Talk every Saturday 10.30am over the festive period at all of our locations:

On Saturday 17th December our Plough Lane group are walking from the Womble Bench outside the stadium to the local farmers market for some carols and treats. Whilst our Mitcham group start at the courtyard of Canons House and will visit carol singers in the town centre on their fun festive walk and talk.

Our Colliers Wood walk and talk group are walking from the tube and meeting up for some festive cheer with our Morden Hall Park group at Merton Abbey Mills. Whilst our Wimbledon Park walkers and talkers are enjoying a walk around the park from near the park cafe and then festive drinks and crafts.

Then on Saturday 24th December - Hark the Herald Walkers and Talkers sing! Yes there is more singing and laughter - and who knows some Santa hats and Christmas jumpers for our Christmas Eve walk and talks. Some members of the Wimbledon Community choir will join us to ensure there is no bleak mid-winter for us - with our Mitcham, Morden and Colliers Wood walk and talk groups meeting up to sing along....and our Wimbledon Park and Plough Lane groups enjoying some glad tidings.

We have already had some amazing winter walk and talks - and some of our pictures show just how stunning our local green spaces and waterways are at this time of year and why we are really enjoying the festive period together...

...in other words there is snow way we are going to stop Walking and Talking - we are here 10.30am every Saturday - whatever the weather...
