Let's have some fun in the sun this Saturday

The sun is shining and there are lots of things to enjoy this weekend.

Come and join our Big Wandle Walk this Saturday 9th September as part of the annual Wandle Fortnight - which celebrates the amazing Wandle Valley and our local community.

Join our Walk and Talks at any of three Wandle locations at 10.30am on 9th September:

Plough Lane: The Womble Bench outside the AFC Wimbledon Football Stadium

Colliers Wood: Outside the tube station

Morden Hall Park From the picnic area near the Snuff Mill and Stable Yard.

Then we will all wander down the Wandle and meet at the lovely and historic Merton Abbey Mills for a great community get together and a drink on us.

This includes the Mitcham Heritage day - where you can join our Mitcham Walk and Talk from the Courtyard of Canons House at 10.30am this Saturday and then enjoy the stalls and activities and finding out more about the local area.

Or come along to some of our amazing local spaces at Tooting Common, Pollards Hill, Wimbledon Park or Wimbledon Common....for a free, fun and relaxed walk and talk together...
