A Walk and Talk Adventure Every Saturday
We are often asked what a Walk and Talk involves. In other words how long is it, where do you go, what do you do, what do you talk about?
The answer boils down to a simple answer - no walk and talk is ever the same...it is whatever you want to make it....and it will make your Saturday.
You can enjoy yourself for however long you can stay and however far you want to walk and talk. That is because our ethos is to make things relaxed, laid back and welcoming for you.
....and there is another secret to our success...we regularly team up with great people organisations and activities on many of our Walk and Talks to bring your local area to life...
Take last Saturday alone. Our Walk and Talks across Merton and Wandsworth explored:
....the 900+ year old history of Merton Priory Chapter House (from the Magna Carta to Henry VIII via the first English Parliament and law)...
...Merton Abbey Mills and its rich creative history from Liberty's print works to William Morris's art and craft movement...and with some anecdotes about everything from finding a python to a family enjoying a picnic in the middle of the river Wandle...
...a tour of the historical Wimbledon Windmill after a beautiful walk and talk across the Common...
...a visit to Wimbledon Park's Mosque with some local underground history stops on the way...
...a walk and talk around Canons House and Grounds in Mitcham followed by a sustainability fair and fun activities for the community...
....a glorious walk and talk from Pollards Hill across Mitcham common...
....a Tooting Common visit to an amazing Streatham Community Garden....with some chocolate courgette cake into the bargain...

In other words never a dull walk and talk!
And of course every Saturday in every location there is always the simple pleasure of enjoying getting together with the local community for a nice chat and enjoying lovely local locations and nature.
