A Big Wandle Walk and Talk to remember

Three walk and talk groups came together on Saturday 9th September to enjoy our Big Wandle Walk and Talk.

We wandered along the river and then met at the historic Merton Abbey Mills for a well earned cold drink (and a cuppa), a Wandle quiz and some walk and talk prizes!

We had a lovely morning together.

Our Big Wandle Walk and Talk was part of the Wandle Fortnight celebration - a brilliant annual series of community events co-ordinated by the Wandle Valley Forum.

We are so lucky to have the Wandle Valley in our midst for some lovely riverside walk and talks and an area rich in history, wildlife and interest.
